Project Description
Detective App Design was created to support race monitoring and detection in a fast, reliable way. The core concept of the app is to ensure accurate recording of when participants cross the finish line, eliminating manual errors and delays.
The app integrates camera-based detection with a real-time preview system, making it suitable for competitive racing environments where accuracy is crucial.
THE STORY
In traditional racing, tracking finish times can sometimes lead to disputes or human error, especially when many participants finish close together. I wanted to design an app that solves this by providing automated, camera-powered detection of race completions.
That’s how the Detective App was born—to ensure fair, accurate, and transparent race results.
MY APPROACH
I started by analyzing race management workflows, focusing on pain points like finish-line disputes and lack of instant verification. Then I designed an app that brings automation and clarity into the process.
Designed camera integration for continuous race monitoring.
Created a detection algorithm flow for identifying when racers cross the endpoint.
Built a preview system to instantly replay race completion moments.
Applied a clean, functional UI to ensure reliability under pressure.
The result is Detective App Design—an accurate, real-time race detection platform that improves fairness, transparency, and trust in racing events.
